ResumeCraft ("the app", "we") is a resume builder for Android. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and your choices. Contact: bebettr.co@gmail.com.
Account data. Sign-in uses Google Sign-In via Firebase Authentication. We receive your name, email address, and profile photo URL from your Google account to create your account.
Resume content. The text you enter in your resumes (personal details such as name, phone, email, city, links, roll number; work, education, skills and other sections) and any images you add (profile photo, university logo) are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, linked to your account, so your resumes sync across sessions and reinstalls.
Analytics and diagnostics. We use Google Analytics for Firebase (app usage events, device identifiers) and Firebase Crashlytics (crash logs, device model, OS version) to understand usage and fix bugs. This data is not used for advertising.
App integrity. Firebase App Check (Play Integrity) verifies requests come from the genuine app.
No ads and no advertising SDKs. No selling of personal data. No in-app purchases. No access to your contacts, location, SMS, or files beyond images you explicitly pick. Exported PDFs/JPGs are saved to your device's Downloads folder via Android MediaStore and never uploaded by us.
All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and stored in Google Firebase infrastructure. Database security rules restrict every user's data to their own account only.
Data is processed by Google LLC as our infrastructure provider (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics), under Firebase's privacy terms. We do not share your data with anyone else.
Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete individual resumes in the app at any time. You can permanently delete your entire account and all associated data in-app via Settings → Delete account, or by following the steps at our account deletion page. Deletion removes your resumes and profile from our database and deletes your authentication account.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date.
